The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
